Three pigeons dropped together at 13:22. The first pigeon clocked at 13:22:22 and Bertus’s 20096 at 13:22:24 and the third one at 13:22:27. The fourth pigeon was clocked at 13:29:34.

15509 competed in only a few races as yearling and won 1st club, 1st Federation 792 pigeons, 1st EPPU union (152 members) Mthatha II 383km 1171mpm 1314 pigeons and one week later (with only 9 primary flights – dropped both on the Monday before the race) 1st club, 17th PE Federation 810 pigeons and 24th EPPU Kokstad 511km 1085mpm 1272 pigeons.
