Charles did not only win the Open race from Ladysmith but also the Yearling race. His winner ZA 22 20330 is a son of ZA 20 NOK 20448 (son of TYSON and MARIEKE JUNIOR) when crossed with a grizzle De Zutter hens. A sister of ZA 22 20330, ZA 21 NJ 2766, was 3rd in the Open race (dropped with 2 loft mates taking 1,2,3 club and 9,10,11 ECBU Combine).
Charles’s second pigeon, ZA 22 BORD 740, was 4th club and is a daughter of ZA 20 NOK 20256 (Sonny Bill x Little Nancy).
The two yearlings taking 8 & 15 club are children of ZA 20 NOK 20383, a son of 50438 (Kromme x Marieke Junior) and High Voltage (Sonny Bill x Bloue Marieke). Charles bought 20383 as a young bird from Bertus and raced him. He won 1st Combine for Charles from New Hanover 469km 1182mpm 814 pigeons and then moved to the breeding loft.
