SUPERMAN (PSWU 15/10832) of CC Poggenpoel & Sons is the 1st ACE PIGEON of the Despatch National Loft for 2016.
SUPERMAN flew exceptionally well and was 8th in a tough Final Race from Theunissen 610km. Winning velocity 1119mpm. Two weeks before the main race SUPERMAN won 3rd in a very hard race from Springfontein 400km. Only 34 pigeons were clocked on the day and the winning velocity was 740mpm. In this race the 1st, 3rd and 4th pigeons were all descendants of the Van der Merwe Janssens and Gaby Vandenabeeles of Bertus.
The father of SUPERMAN is a EURO DIAMOND cock they bought at a Million Dollar Auction and the mother is PSWU 13/04187, winner of the KROONSTAD NATIONAL LOFT main race in 2014. She is also the mother of PSWU 14/0855, winner of the 2015 DESPATCH NATIONAL LOFT main race in 2015.
