A brother of SLEEK 4, NBD 19 2035, won 1st in the main race at the EASTERN CAPE NATIONAL LOFT in 2020 from Ladybrand 545km. It was a very tough race (30 Degrees Celsius and 20km/h head wind) and the winning speed was 1047mpm. Bertus was 2nd with NOK 20 20131, a son of “22” (KROMME x DOGTER GOLDEN EYE) and 1513 (Izak Marais linebred Bliksem hen). KROMME is also from the WITPEN WITTENBUIK SA line. His father is a grandson of WITPEN WITTENBUIK SA and his mother is a granddaughter of WITPEN WITTENBUIK SA.
BORD 20 1424 “OMNIA 5” of Chris & Yvonne Jacobs of East Londen is 2nd ace pigeon of 2021. OMNIA 5’s father ZA 12 40047 was bred by Bertus. His father 45745 is a son of WITTENBUIK 306 (WITPEN WITTENBUIK and the GABY HEN) and PRETTY EYES (Roland Bouwer). His mother is 45553 (WITTENBUIK 306 x HALF PINT). OMNIA’s mother is BELG 19 2131384 “CHRISTINA”. She was bred by the Herbots Family and is inbred to the famous RUDY of Gaby Vandenabeele. OMNIA’s father is an excellent breeder for Chris and his children are at their best in hard and tough races. A sister of “OMNIA 5” won the club race for Chris on Saturday.
