In 2021 Riaan and Izak decided to race in partnership from Riaan’s lofts in Aliwal North. Izak supplies the pigeons and Riaan races them. They have started the season well and are curently in second place in the North Eastern Cape Pigeon Union.
Saturday’s race was from Kroonvaal 437km. They got three pigeons on the drop and they were clocked in 15 seconds.
1. ZA BPK ’21 047 – father is 10300 (son of 29097 and her 1st union son) and mother is 10535 (Lou Wouter/Gold Medal cock x 00399). 29097 is a daughter of JONGE RUDY and MARIEKE JUNIOR and 00399 is a daughter of SUPER BLIKSEM and BONTE BLIKSEM.
2. ZA BPK ’21 082 – father is 1173 (Chipo cock x 181 Golden Carelly/Tom Lock) and mother is 156606 (77 x 29096). 77 is a son of BLIKSEM 34 and 29096 is the nestmate sister of 29097.
3. ZA BPK ’21 778 – father is 1640 (Chip cock x 181 Golden Carelly/Tom Lock) and mother is 10536 (Lou Wouter/Gold Medal cock x 00399). 10536 is the nestmate sister of 10535.
